    Default Hard as Hull help

I picked some up and took it home to find out that the brush is too hard to get it where i want it. I thought about trimming some of the brush off. I also considered getting a head cement dropper bottle to put it in. What do you guys do?

    Garb,

I always trim my brushes at a severe angle.

I have found that the brushes in Hard as Hull are stiffer than ones in Hard as Nails. Probably because tthe 'Hull' has additional hardeners in it.

The point of a good bodkin always
works good for me on small stuff.
The bottle brush I just trim down
    to a few strands.

1st thing I do is pop the brush out of the cap and throw it away. I use a bodkin for everything except streamers and laquering feathers.

I pulled all the brush fiber out on empty one and inserted the head of a small pin in it and carefully heated the edge to fold over the head. Let it harden before using. I also use a applicator bottle for thin down H as N.
