My response to the fly fishers who camp thread was mostly a lament about how I have researched the options and have not found an RV I could cost justify. I now have!

Check out Chalet and Aliner RVs.

Both have models that can be towed behind most cars. They are super easy to set up, compared to the typical pop-up camper. The A-frame design makes even their smallest models seem very spacious inside. There are great options for both. They can be stored n my garage.

I'm now sold on these and am keeping an eye out for used ones for my retirement years. They will cost me more overall than staying in a motel, but not so much more that I can't justify them on the basis of being worth the cost.

If any of you have any experience with them, please chime in.
