Change R-L on an Orvis MarkV ???

I bought a very lightly used Orvis Battenkill Mark V reel as a spare.
The guy has spooled the reel backwards and it is set up as a right hand retrieve. Set up this way the drag is engaged on the retrieve so the drag is non existent. (probably why he sold it)

Question : Can I change this over to left hand and if so How?
Would I just flip over and reverse the cam on the drag. When I remove the screw, it doesn't want to come off easily and I didn't want to force it.
