I would get trailing loops & hence wind knots when I'd get tired after a long day of casting. When I started the day I had no problems. That made it easier for me to see what I was doing different. I found that I would unconsciously( spell ck.used) open up my stroke & let the rod drop on my backcast & then on my forward stroke I compensated by powering too fast.
& too late. . This put an arc in the rod tip plane of travel & the line just followed the rod tip. I know what I'm doing wrong, now if I could just stop doing it I'd be happy.......
