Shimazaki Airtru fly wing question
Just wondering how many of you tie with this wing material?
I've been tying up blue duns, brown drakes and march browns with this stuff over the past few days. It's a great material for tying with, it shapes up very nicely and ties in well. On the finished fly it look much more realistic than hair of hackle tips IMO.
My question is this, how does this material stand up over a summer of casting, foul hook ups, trout bites and general all around fly fishng abuse?
If any of you use this and can help me out that would be great
Thanks and tight lines_____ Grant
