I really wanted to make it down for that last year. I think I'll HAVE to talk to Icemanxxxv and we'll both try and come down.

May 31-June 5th I'm already committed to a trip to the driftless, but so far all other times are open.
Let me know as things develop.
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
Oh please don't make it ovewr the 27th of May. It's SWMBO birthday, otherwise I'm in!
Count me in!

OH!!! Bluegill222 was right! I do need to read the warm water forum occasionally! No wonder my ears were ringing!!!!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.
A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
I'd love doing this. Looks like I'll be doing a trip to Europe on business, and will have graduation and stuff around that time so it likely won't be possible. Sounds like a blast though!
I will be there for sure! I liked where we were last year, but anywhere is good. I've got a 10' jonboat this year so it's all good.
So just a quick question to those that were there last year..... what flies worked well and what didn't?
I am typically a hopper guy but that early in the year hoppers can be tough to fish and hard to catch fish on. I will and do use a good bunch f streamers and the like for gills as well but wanting to know what you all had luck with and what was happening when you were there.

We used everything from boa leeches, to nymphs to poppers and gurglers. Rubber legs are good and will help, too. Tlerm's big ol' cat came off of a clouser, IIRC, and last year brown was the hot color for me. I think everyone had good luck with different flies, and it was more of a question of being there at the right time. When in doubt, use something hairy looking or with small rubber legs. If what you bring isn't working, someone will make sure you are set up with some extras.
Green lantern,
Glad to hear you'll be back. Sounds like we'll have a bit more of a crowd this year.

Oh believe me if what I have is not working I'll be back at camp cranking out a bunch of something different I take my tying stuff with me wherever I go and I will be able to tie nearly any fly you can imagine on the spot. Thanks though, I really like to tie poppers and gurglers so that will help.
