    Talking Blue gills finally

Today I was able to finaly get out on the water. I was hosted by Jordan aka dryfly2010. It was a scorcher but once I was out on the water I was having to much fun to notice. Jordan's neighbors were kind enought to lets us fish their pond so we didn't take any out. These are a few of the fish I caught. I was dumb enough to make the mistake of not taking a picture when I had a good sized gill on. This is one of the smaller ones.

I also caught a few bass ( sorry but no monsters on the mouse fly, maybe next time.) You can tell Jordan is very honored to be holding my fish.

All of the fish were caught on the same fly. It withstood over twenty fish and I didn't even lose it! It was a variation of Al Cambell's SHWAPF. Jordan dubbed it the "sparkel SHWAPF." The one I was using was a beadless version. Next time I will try a bead head with an indicator.

This might slightly subdue my craving to fish but I will be back... Tommorow I am leaving for the beach, so it will be a while.
