    Size 18 Adams: What are your thoughts? I don't do a lot of dry flies.

    For somone who dosen't tie a lot of dries that little guy look's great! Keep up the good work.

    what did you use for the tail?

    did you use brown and grizzly hackle?

    pic is really blurry to see the details of the fly

    Nicely done.

    There are some who would claim the wings are too narrow -- a consequence of modern hackle tips being narrow -- and to use hen hackle for the wings -- but it won't make a bit of difference to the fish. I actually prefer the narrower wings.

    Well proportioned for someone who claims to not tie a lot of dries.

    Just a note.....if you're looking for good hen necks for dry fly winging? I saw some of the most usable hen hackles at the Keough booth in the Somerset show last week. Picked up one of the nicest Furnace hen sets I've seen in some time.
