    Default Midwest guys

This guy is the best turkey guy in the area.
He mounts scads of fans and throws away the
    feathers you covet.

    It's a pretty easy tie.

    Hook: 3xl #4-12
    Head: black bead or cone
    Thread: black 6/0
Everything else, wild turkey marabou. Tie in the tail, twist the rest of the marabou into a rope and wrap the body. Make a collar out of w.t. marabou.

There you have it, the whisky fly

Default have seen video of fly in action

the turkey marabou really looks alive in the water. Make sure to tie it full. A non-full fly lots like a twig in the water.

My son, "Big Sarge", is hunting the featherless turkeys in Afghanistan and Iraq this spring, but will be home for at least some feathered turkey killing. I'll see if he can't provide us some.
