I visited Newport Bay and walked through a bunch of bayfront stores. At one, there was a carved wooden rat. I collect carvings and did not have a rat so I asked the price. The storekeeper said "$5 for the rat and $50 for the story that goes with it." I just took the rat for $5.

I walked down the stret a bit and felt a bit nervous. I turned around and 4 rats were following me. I stepped up my pace and turned around a block later and there were about 400 rats following me. I ran for the docks and got to the end and turned to see about 4,000,000 rats after me. In despiration, I threw the carved rat into the bay and all 4 million rats jumped in and drowned.

I ran back to the shop and the owner said "I knew you'd be back. The story is $50."

Breathlessly, I told him "I don't want the story. I want a carved LAWYER!"
