Wooly Buggers in the surf
That old pattern is also amazing in the surf!
I was trying them in white with some silver Krystlal Flash strands, and was the only fly I needed during all the morning.
This fly is always amazing, any fish dies for it. Next time I'll try some huge ones for sharks.
Now that sounds interesting. I'm very new to surf fishing so the info is appreciated.

I was using size 4 and size 6, long shank hooks. Some with bead heads. All in white as I wrote above.
