DickM.
For the past seven and a half years, I have been wearing a pair of Nikon polarized gray glass lens sunglasses virtually everyday. The Nikon's retailed at $300 but I got them on closeout from Sierra Trading Post at the Cheyenne store for $40 !! But .... time has taken a toll and I'm due for another good pair.

I checked out some of the Costa Del Mar sunglasses with the 580 lenses. They look like they might be just the replacement I'm looking for. Kind of pricey at somewhere around $230 for the models I liked, but if they will last as long as Nikons, or close to it, on the long haul they would be well worth it. Follow the link to an example of their products ( you'll need to select the 580 lens from the menu to get the price for that model ).

Here's a link to the Costa Del Mar link on the technology of the 580 lenses. Once on the site, do a little exploring for styles and options.

Thanks for mentioning these glasses, Sully and Dick. I probably wouldn't have thought about this brand if you hadn't mentioned them.
