I made a bunch of y2k's. I even have a ytk my 7 year old tied, and one my 5 year old tied in baggies I plan on keeping forever. I had to separate them, because they looked every bit as good as mine. Ignore the zebra midge. All I had for the wire was some heavy wire I used on the ytk's.
The woolybugger is a vision in red. All I had at the time was red chenille and red hackle. If I catch a red fish with it I will let everyone know.
My my best fly so far, a prince nymph...I think. I still have limited supplies, so the hackle I used was all I had and looks a little long, but I still made all of my neighbors and friends look at it and feign interest.
Should I trim the hackle on the nymph?
