    Flytyer,

If you are using the yarn as an indicator it is macrame cord you are looking for. I bought mine from King Kountry Macrame products http://www.kingskountry.com/ It comes in 100 yard rolls for around $7.50, which is a lifetime supply for several generations of Flytyers. PM me if you want.

    Beaver,
It is used for body of a Junebug fly and needed to help it float high. Thanks anyway.

This stuff is the BOMB for sculpting and will help with flotation... Lots of colors. It is a little strange feeling when working with it at first as it feels a little rubbery and the fibers seperate a bit differently from anything else.

    kbproctor,

Thanks. I had checked out jannsnetcraft and they did not carry that color.

    hap,

Will that stuff compress enough to make a good body. It sounds like it is great for thicker egg patterns. Thanks

You can pull a section of any size out and use it exactly like yarn with as much stretch as you like to control body size.

You can apply it like deer hair and it will flare and can be trimmed to whatever shape is desired. Done in very small "lifts" you can build up color schemes very accurately and arrange the stuff after.

A large bunch done as a glo-bug will completely surround a hook.
