    hap,

Thanks, but it doesn't sound like it will work for the application I wish to use it for.

I see that the macrame cord comes in different thicknesses 2mm,6mm, etc. Which is the best size when making indicators?

    Wizard,

    6mm works the best.

    Fly.Tyer,
I see you live in FDL... If you don't mind the 40 mile trek north, the Hobby Lobby in Appleton carries poly yarn (just like the fly shops) in about every color imaginable. I bought pink last week for indicator posts but I know I saw some chartreuse in there too.

    flywatersmallie,

Thanks. There is a Hobby Lobby in Oshkosh I will check first. If that fails the trip to Appleton will well be worth it.

No problem. If I make it that way I could pick some up for you as well

Try Hareline's para post wing. it's some poly-type yarn, and it's watershed treated to float. they got your color.

you could also just dye some. shouldn't be too hard.

Thinking you do not understand what it is... It will do anything yarn will do and much more.

It will give more float than Antron. It can be wrapped exactly like yarn. It also flares beautifully for other applications.
