Default Grand Cayman bonefish report (with pics)

Fished three days. Saw 20 fish the first day and caught two. Saw 40 fish the second day and caught none. Didn't see a bonefish on the last day.
I had wanted to fly to Little Cayman on the last day (Monday), but the flight was sold out. Bonefish are reportedly more plentiful there.
Caught my fish on a fly that I created. I call it Gibby's Bonefish Fly. Worked pretty well.
I caught my fish on successive casts on a flat near Grape Tree Point, located on the north shore just south of Rum Point.
Saw the most fish off Barkers, just north of George Town. Saw three small schools of tailers (and 40 fish in all), but didn't get a look.
Interestingly enough, I found some mosquito ditches near Barkers that were loaded with baby tarpon. I made a couple of casts, had a follow and moved on.
Pretty place. Nice people. Very expensive. Great weather.

Ha, Ha, I clicked on this because I thought it said "grand canyon bonefish". That would be a hoot. Nice fish, though, no matter where they are.

My brother-in-law visited us last Saturday. My wife told him we'd gone to Grand Cayman for Christmas. He thought she said Grand Canyon.

I asked if he'd ever driven on the left side of the road. He said he hadn't. He asked where I'd done it. I told him Grand Cayman. He couldn't figure out why they drive on the left side of the road around the Grand Canyon. In fact, he wondered why I was driving at all in the Grand Canyon.
