I thought I'd get this started by posting my favorite photo for last year. This is a picture I took of my fishing buddy Buzz one early morning on 'No-Tellum' spring creek.
What is your favorite for the year?
Kelly.

I have posted this one before and I can't really take to much credit for the shot. I set the camera up for my wife to take some shots of our grand daughter watching me tie. My wife composed the shot and as you can see had impecable timing. This is indeed my favorite of '09.

oh man....how can anyone pick just one?
I like this one because these hybrid sunfish are fairly colorful:
But I like this one because of the wonderful memory it evokes, and it was my biggest fish of the year/new species/biggest fish on a fly rod ever.
um...and then I liked this one "just because".

I didn't take many fishing pics this year, mostly because I wasn't able to get out very much. The outing that Kelly took me on with Buzz was the highlite of the year, and I took this picture of Kelly and Buzz, probably the same day as the one Kelly opened this thread with. My favorite pic this year is the one that Kelly took of me holding a brute brown that he got me into, which has been posted here before.
Thanks for a great memory Kelly.
They're just fish, right? Right?
