Smile Fresh from the new oven. Pics of food!

Made from scratch pumpkin bread for the season:

Now the house smells like Christmas!

Put the new stove in yesterday and put my back out in the process. I am laid up a bit today but managed to make the bread.

Pumpkin pie and chocolate chip cookies are next. Well, so much for watching my blood sugar and the weight. Hey, it is the holiday season!

Our winds are 30 knots @ 090; I smelled something good coming from the east and now I know what it was. Thanks for sharing. They do look good. BTW I like my chocolate chip cookies thin, crisp and dark around the edges.

Hey! Quit talking about me like I'm not here. Oh...wait...I HAVEN'T been around. My bad!
Very nice loaves. With Brad nearby, I don't stand a chance of getting even one slice to satisfy my palette.

Just so you know, I have kept the oven light burning during the holidays. Here is some of the handiwork:
Honey Whole Wheat and Cinnamon-Raisin with oatmeal topping.

Cornbread for breakfast made in he cast iron skillet and topped with butter and honey.
