Now that I allowed for opinions to come out, here's my thoughts on that label.

1)Californians tend to think they know more than the rest of us. Thus the label stating THEY are the only ones to KNOW.

2)The label is a bank-handed 'compliment' to those that 'know more' than the rest of us. "Hey look, they know lead is deadly."

    "Lead is deadly"...............DO YA THINK!

Driving your car into tree at 50 mph is deadly but thank God we don't have to read it every other mile on the road!

The leading cause of warning labels is Lawyer, more specifically Plaintiff Attorneys willing to take a case on a contingence with no fear of retirbution from the defendant if they lose. Having worked in risk management, loss prevention and the insurance industries for the past 40+ years I have rather mixed feelings about lawyers and the courts. If there is anything that needs repair it's the legal system, reforming the legal system would do wonders for the medical system.

Dumb warning labels are there because an idiot somewhere did what the label warns you not to do, sued and was awarded a large amount of money. I have heard several people defend the plaintiff in the McD coffee case by saying the coffee at the McD was hotter than usual. But who ever went to a restaurant and ask for a cup of lukewarm coffee. If it is hotter than you like, put some ice in it.

People from CA are like people everywhere, the hardworking, intelligent Californians let the inmates take over the aslyum while they weren't paying attention. If we aren't careful they will have control of the whole dang country.

Umm, I should state for the record I live here in CA only because of a job offering and because I had no choice...I don't know anything other than life is darn too expensive here and that people drive like maniacs...I'm still trying to figure out how do they text and drive at the same time when it is clearly against the law.
Now, I mean no disrespect to anybody, I'm just saying I'm a small town mouse in the big BIG city. I love small town living. Some people think I'm weird because I say "good morning", you should see the looks I get...
