    Eric,

Go to the martin show, such wonderfull guitars to see!

May I suggest you get a guitar stand.. it helps to keep the insturment out and available to play. I have a guitar resting 3feet from me in the main room and two sitting within arms reach in my tieing room.

    Insperation always helps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwWBC_ZlLeE

work your fingers to the bone.. what do ya get? boney fingers!

I could never play a guitar and am in awe of those that can.

I wonder if anyone else has this 'problem'. When I move my fingers up and down on 'multiple-wired' guitar strings I get "the chills"......chills running up and down the back and such. The high note(single wire) strings don't do that to me.
This is one reason I never ventured into playing it.

I'm 'hell' on Guitar Hero though
Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.

I don't play myself (but am not bad on Guitar Hero ), but I bought my 15 yr old daughter an Epiphone AJ-200 acoustic for Christmas to complement her 2 Epiphone SG electrics (a 6 string and a bass). I'll but her the equipment, because I'm counting on her for my retirement!

Epiphone does makes some of their lower end guitars overseas, but some are made in the US as well. Epiphone has been around since the late 1800's and Gibson bought them in the 50's. Even the guitars made in China are made to Gibson specs.

I agree with keeping it out in the open. A guitar in a case in a closet is the epitome of "out of sight, out of mind".

Good luck and fun with it Nighthawk!!!
