Orvis Clearwater Classic
Looking for an Orvis Clearwater Classic 8'6" 5 weight. Had one stolen some time ago and it had sentimental value. I would like to replace it. Would consider other models as well, just would like another rod from this line, not the current Clearwater 2 variety. Thanks!
Anyone? Looking for something in a freshwater configuration. Someone has to have one laying around
Orvis rod
I have an Orvis Clearwater 8'6", 2-pc, 5wt, 3-1/4 oz, full flex 5.0, and it has a 99 under the full flex. I bought it in 1999 and fished it for 2 seasons, before I found out I liked slightly faster rods. The cork is darkened from use and there is a chip of coating where it says "5 wt line", the l and i are gone. Other than that it appears to be in good shape. I have the sock and a DB Dun rod tube for a 9' rod. The fly shop didn't have the Orvis tube.
What might it be worth to you?
