I'm from Waynesboro PA, live in MD now. I still fish PA almost exclusivly. I would consider Falling Spring and E Br of the Antietam my home waters.

Okay, how many people want to get together.
Where? (somewhere central I guess)
(Although I know there aren't really any trout in central PA wink wink nod nod)
When?
Pine Creek Valley might be good idea, it favors north a bit but is central. Petticoat Junction is a decent campground with lots of trailer and tent sites and a few cabins. Right at Cedar Run and on Pine Creek, close to Slate Run and Little Pine plus a lot of other nice streams. Cumberland Valley in Carlisle area has lots of good streams and lots of rooms available in that area and possibly I could arrange for a decent deal for camping near that area. I am open to anywhere and would be willing to help get things set up. Guess we should clear this with LF first
Count me in for the get together....Joe
here's another PA person....live near Reading, fish a lot of little spring creeks in Berks County, have a trailer in Coburn, home of Penn's and Elk/Pine Creeks. FWIW, we already have a little get together planned in late May(20-26th) in Coburn.......any other proposed gathering would be nice, too.
I just returned from a 5 year stay in Florida.
Glad to be back. I live in Butler County
and fish locally, mostly on DHALO sections
of the Slippery Rock Creek and other streams.
I am looking forward to try some more lake
fishing this year.
Jim.
Tim,
here's another one to add to your worries *G*. Grew up in Pa. but live in Southeast Va. now. Still make it back to Pa a few times a yr to fish. Mostly around Gettysburg/Chambersburg area .it's hard to stay away from all those wonderful streams.
best,
Steve
it's all good drifts
Jesse,
I did fish Bob's Creek maybe six years ago. It was packed with meathunters early season. Then, early summer it heated up real quick that year. Haven't been back. I'm enjoying CS Creek too much!
I like the idea of a "mini" Pa fish-in. I've fished the Pine creek valley a couple of times. Would really be interested in biking the "canyon" from Ansonia to Blackwell with a fly rod. It is a 15 mile stretch of "not so pressured" water. Anyone else interested? Ron
Oh man you bet I am up for PA get
together!!

Working Trout Bum
Wow, it seems like there is alot of interest here. I have no idea how to get this started but I am welling to help also. Think the Central CV area would be great with so many great areas to try, Breeches, Big Springs, Letort, Stoney, Clarks to many to name all withing 1 hr of etc. We should get the OK for LF but maybe Fish-Inn PA 2006???
Dry Fly my email address is in the profile let me know if I can help.
