    Default Redington CPX Waders

Has anyone tried the Redington CPX waders? I was thinking about getting a pair, but the shop I went into was putting a super hard sell on me and I want to get a second opinion. The look good, but the guy at the shop said they had the same zipper as on the Simms zip front for $600 + dollars. Does it have the same zipper and has anyone used them? Leaks, durability?

    Thanks

I didnt get the zip up, so this may not help.

I have the normal and have been very impressed with them. I am on the water alot and they have held up very well.

    B,

I have the Redington CPX waders with the zipper which I won in last month's drawing. Sadly however I haven't had a chance to use them yet so I can't really speak to their durability. As the salesperson noted the zipper is the same one used by Simms in their G4Z Stockingfoot waders.

Beyond that I can't really make that many comments as to durability as I haven't used them or even owned them that long.

    Hope this helps,
    Brian

Looks like a good deal, esp if they're using the same zipper as on the Simms. Esp since the Simms are four times the cost. I've learned Gore Tex ain't all that...esp with some of these new materials and that zipper was my only concern.
