so far I have got into 4 steelies since starting this fall. been at it 3 weeks or so but 1 of the weeks was flooded out. got 1 on a clouser minnow in olive/pink/white and the rest on black wooley buggers. here is a few pix of the fish!! enjoy! caught the one in the last 2 pix, the I am holding today on just 4lb test! usually use 8lb but water was so clear a member of my forum i was fishing with recommended it. I thought a steelie would make short work of 4lb test so i was hesitent but I guess I was wrong cause I got it in just as easy as when i fish 8lb? it was some 4lb trilene flourocarbon tippet.
