    Default Recovering slowly

Hi folks. Just thought I would let you know it has been almost 2 weeks since they ablated my thyroid with radioactive iodine. My recovery is slowly progressing. I am struggling with some increased symptoms of hyperthyroidism but that was expected. My heart rate has climbed, fatigue increased, trembling has increased (it is a challenge just to hold the phone and fly fishing is out), sore throat, swollen salivary glands, insomnia, but the feared thyroid storm never reared it's ugly head.

Believe it or not these are all good signs that the treatment is working. I can't go fly fishing but we are going to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert in Hershey Sunday evening. I can sit down for that.

    Eric,

Glad to hear things are working. Maybe they'll be able to get everything under control. Also glad to hear your getting out, and to a TSO concert even. Enjoy the music for both of us.

    Be well my friend.

Eric, glad to hear it is going well. Keep your focus on the things you can do in the future not the things you can't do now.

Still with you buddy. Keep me posted on the concert. Sounds like that's going to be a good show.
