    Default Painted flies

    Hi
My daughter paints pictures with oil and water paintings. I have been wondering for a long time how it would be to "paint" the flies. This could be ideal for nymps and fry.

Well to make a long story short, I tried it out and here you can see the outcome.

The material can be seen in one of the pictures, missing from it is the 5 minute epoxy.

These are the two flies I made, they will become better with practise, f.ex. I would need to flatten the area where the eyes come before painting them on or maybe just glue on some already made eyes but it's nicer the have the whole pattern painted. Also the body needs some refining.

    Anyhow, here they are!

    Thorarinn.
