The real difference between cats and dogs?
To a dog, you are family.
To a cat, you are staff.

It Just Doesn't Matter....
We have a cat.................
It is the most useless animal I have ever seen................
It is afraid of its own shadow.......................
Darn thing won't come near me which doesn't bother me much.......................
It is afraid to go outside..........................
What kind of cat is afraid to go outside.........................
Of course its fear of the outdoors may be justified..........................
This lives outside........................
I keep hoping the cat goes outside someday without looking...............
Kuma loves cat.

I like cats, thankfully I am allergic so I have an excuse not to have one. (don't have to find a cat sitter when I leave)

Yes, but it takes a lot of ketchup.
My only pet is a spider.
I'm a dog person. I have a Springer Spaniel named Ghillie.
We, as in VEE and I, also have two cats. An 11 year old white cat that I rescued from a barn. His ears and nose were badly sunburned from being outdoors so I took him home to recuperate. That was about 10 1/2 years ago. His name is Kink, from the double crook in his tail.
I also have a rescued long hair orange and white cat. I got her when she was about 6 weeks old. Someone dumped her on the street. I'm taking care of her till I find her a good home. I got her in October of 1992. Still haven't found her a home as good as this one. Her name is Bu**wipe from her kitten habit of unrolling the toilet paper.
Chris, those are very pretty cats, what breed are they?
Happiness is wading boots that never have a chance to dry out.
Golden fried with hushpuppies, coleslaw and a slice of good onion, and sweet tea hard to beat
Now those fuzzy animal that my wife has kept around for most of the last 40 years, they are just little women in fur coats. The one we maintain at the moment has not redeeming characterics at all. The cat in residence before her was a better model, she could provide for herself, no problem with small rodents with Pepper around, slept most of the day.
Dogs are probably more trouble but do show you they appreciate the effort. If I had a fenced in yard a small beagle would be nice.
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
I have a 4 month old kitten that we got because the lady suggested her cat needed a little buddy (had lived with several cats all his life until the move here). He's pretty well the same thing...won't go outside unless I'm there to watch him, etc. Still pretty cute for a cat but make no mistake, as soon as I get a house with a yard I'll have my dog...probably a retriever mix, maybe a beagle...something that will help me shoot more critters of some kind. lol
Deep fried is best...
Not really I have 2.25 cats.
The .25 is my first cat, JC and Dee thought I needed companionship when I got divorced so they bought me a fake cat that purrs and meows and moves slightly if you pet it / move it. An all new high in annoying, right under those Billy Bass wall mounts, Marvin, or Dee's barking sentry.
Come to think of it, it really is a better cat than the other 2, it likes me a whole lot better I think (except for feeding time of course)
I'm STILL trying to find a way to get even with Dee on that house warming gift though.. So Dee, I know you're reading this... I CAN set the main page to play the llama llama song (only for you) perpetually. Hmmmm. I've got to get on some system maintenance...
I don't particularly care for them but they sure as H E Double Toothpicks love me!
