    Default Night Fishing report 11-13-09

    Where: Public Pond
    Date: 11-13-09
    Time fished: 7:20pm-9:20pm
    Weather: 59 degrees F, wind @ 5mph from ESE
    Fish sought: any
Fish caught: 3 crappies, 3 bluegills, 1 channel catfish (19")
Tackle used: 5wt fly rod, #8 yellow boa yarn leech fly

After eating dinner on Friday night, and spending some time with the family, I headed out to a local pond. It was slow fishing, but a nice night to be doing it. The catfish was a nice surprise, I didn't figure any would be so shallow with the water temps being this cool. It still fought very good!

Dave, great report and nice fish. Used to catch channel cats when I was a kid, but have since moved from that area. I would like to catch one on a flyrod.
    Thanks for sharing!
