the Tie-Fast knot tool is awesome. I mainly use it for my leader to line connections, but it can also be used for tying flies to the tippet. It's very simple to use, and makes excellent knots, very easily. Also look into the C&F threader boxes. My fly fishing partner has tremors very badly sometimes, and I picked him up a threader box for his Birthday, he loves it, and it speed up tying on flies immensly. Good luck in this, and check out the Tie-Fast, it's a very nice simple tool

And so is the blood knot tool - the one with the two spikes, and the thingy that twirls. Works great.

Nuthatch, I too have essential tremor. There are some medications that can help. Feel free to email me if you want to talk.

I sometimes use the Tie Fast. Even ties leaders. Check this link

I have used both the tools mentioned but my favorite is the Creek Company knot tying tool:

Nuthatch, I have trouble tying my shoelaces let alone tippet to tippet, leadeader to tippet or threading the tippet thru a small eye'd fly.

My last trip to the Bahamas for Bonz, the guide told me to speed up the tippet change because the tide was starting to change I took so long .

The Fishing fool Tool is great and easy to use, they gave me a video to dupe with all the demo's on it. Fly line to tippet, leader to tippet, hook sharpner, eye threader for small flys, pliers for releasing fish, an eye cleaner for hooks and a catch and release tool, all in one set of pliers.

Thanks for all your help!! I'll check-out your suggestions, and I'm sure to find one that works. (PS to RG/AR: my tremor is "intention" tremor and there are no drugs for this. But armed with the proper tool I am sure I'll be on the water again come spring!)
