Ultra light spinning setup?

Let me start by sharing this, I took my little princess fishing with me today in the morning and we didn't catch much but had a blast.



I went to a Sport Chalet store the other day and I caught myself eyeballing an ultra light spinning setup. I've been trying to convince myself not to buy it but it's there in the back of my head.
I wasn't able to fly fish, because she wanted to be close to dad and because when I do I just concentrate on that and the whole world just vanishes lol so I thought maybe with the spinning setup I could share more fishing with her...I don't know, I wanted to hear opinions.
