Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.
I'm confused. The picture sure looks like a graphite rod, is this a split cane rod or graphite? So this rod sells for the same price as a split cane rod because they use the same butt cap ?

Any advertising copy writer who claims that a 7 ft. 4 weight rod is the "perfect" rod for wild trout in small streams would have a lot of "proving" to do should he or she fish the small, wild trout streams I fish in the Rockies of S. CO.
No man can have too many fly rods;
no woman too many shoes.
I added it to my gift registry..........................if I only knew someone that has over a grand to spend on me.

AND dont forget you can have it personalized for only $45 more??? Seems to me if you spend $1400 on a rod, they should personalize it FREE! Like engrave "Sucker" in Latin on the butt cap!
25 year gaurentee on bamboo I can see as a selling point. but on graphite? with the advances in graphite in the last 10 years, todays graphite rods will be as state of the art in 20 years as fiberlass is today. And about as valuabe perhaps?
I have the Ghetto version.....tis a nice rod. One of the choices when fishing the #32's
