Rick - No problem! The Borger nymph leader formula is also on page 181 of his book "Presentation". He uses 4 feet of .020 Maxima Chameleon, 1 foot .013 Maxima Chameleon, 4 feet of 2X tippet, and 6 to 8" of 4X tippet. The split shot goes just above the 4X knot and an indicator anywhere on the .013 section. I add those sleeve indicators at the fly line connection plus the next two knots. One big advantage of them is that you don't have to move an indicator up or down for different depths. Just watch the sleeve closest to the surface and strike if it pauses, stops or heads upstream - its either a fish or a snag. Try a bit of floatant from the bottom indicator sleeve all the way up onto the fly line. Works so well it is almost cheating!.....Ed
