My wife and I are going on our 1st Bonefish trip. The destination is Miller?s Bay Long Island Bahamas (Chez Pierre). It is basically a DIY (Do It Yourself) trip. We have booked a guide for the first two days. One of the guide days is going to be from a boat the other is a day of wading. The rest of the time we will wade fish and explore the islands many flats. There are three areas we would like some help ?
Fly Selection ? (we tie our own) from our reading we understand the need for various weights, colors and size in a given pattern. What 3 ? 6 patterns do you feel are essential for a successful trip to this part of the world?

Accessories / provisions - What items do you carry on you when going on the flats for the day?

Packs / Belts - What model & brand of flats pack (or otherwise) have you used and found satisfactory for serious wade fishing?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
