    I don't have much to add to Craig's review other than I completely agree with his assessments. I have the largemouth rod and love it.

    The thing that most people don't realize is the weight of the rod. Sure, you can do what this rod can do with a typical 9ft 8wt but at the end of the day you'll be a lot more tired doing it. This rod feels like a feather and your shoulder will thank you for using it.

    I use it for striper fishing with a 350 grain full sinking line and it performs flawlessly.

    If you like throwing big deerhair flies or heavy sinking lines and don't care for a shoulder workout, you should give them a try.
