    Default Update from the doc

    Hi Folks,
My doctor called today with my scan results. I have what is called a "Hot" Nodule on my thyroid. The nodule absorbed the radioactive iodine as did the rest of the thyroid. This means that the nodule is probably not cancer. No surgery. The thyroid is enlarged, hyperactive, and both thyroid and nodule can be destroyed with radioactive iodine. I will go in, take a pill and two days later return to work.

Even though I did not get to fish the Clark's Creek FFO area the other day I did get these pictures:

See what you are mising by not fishing with the Nighthawk?

Glad to hear it isn't cancer, knowing what it is, is half the battle. Those are great pictures and hopefully we can meet up at a fish in some time and cast a line or tell a tale.

Great news Eric. Your post brought a smile to my face and warmed my heart. The pics of that stream made me think it would be a good place for a "Spring Time, Pennsylvania, FAOL, Fish-In." It's too bad there is a whole continent stuck between us. I think we would fish together often.
    Thanks for posting.

I am so grateful to all of you. I just know it is the well wishes and prayers that are making the difference.

Hey Mike, that is a good point about glowing in the dark. Good thing I wear chest waders lest the fish and boat commission types arrest me for baiting them with a glow in the dark weenie!

Hum, two Pa. fish-ins in one year. That could be done. That particular creek is very close to Harrisburg so lodging is no problem. Lots of hotels, motels and camp grounds in the area. Also lots more great cold water and warm water fishing too. Hey lots of things for family and friends that don't fish too like Hershey Park/Factory/Zoo/Rose Gardens, National Civil War Museum, Gettysburg National Battle Field, dutch Wonderland, Cabela's Largest store, Bass Pro Shops....etc... Take a short trip down the road and meet Bob Clouser.

Diane, I am really dying to get my N.Y. license and come up there to fish with you. Can you imagine fishing your way up and down U.S. 15 through both states? Wow!

I will keep everyone posted. I am so very, very grateful for all of the support. I can't wait till I get back to my normal and back on the water.

    God Bless All
    Eric
