i think for the same price you can do alot better with maybe a higher quality reel

i've mostly fished w/ orvis battenkill variant and ross cimarron variant reels in the past- just thought i might try something different... hard to beat the the orvis BBS reels for the price.

i have considered Lamson- i'll take a closer look.
