As much as I like fly tying, I'm afraid that if I could only do one it would be fly fishing for me. Fly tying would go.

for my i would have to say fly fishing i find tying to relaxing and calming

I tie more than I fish and love it, but it would go in favor of fishing. Tying is in the living room, fishing in nature.
I'd give up the tying. When I'm too old the fish... I'd just trade. LOL
Seeing as we're talking reality though... there's no reason to give up either one! WHEW!

Gotta fish, i enjoy working on flies but I love fishin. The whole time I'm putting a fly together I'm thinking this is the fly that's going to catch my next trophy. take a picture and let it go, of course.
