I got back this week from "fishing" on the MF of the Salmon near Dagger Falls. It got down into the single digits over night and up to maybe 40 during the day. Everything was fantastic except no fish. I tried what looked like perfect holes, runs, etc. Tried many flies and techniques. Not a bite. So I am wondering if the cutthroats migrate down stream to avoid being blocked in by ice when winter arrives. Do they migrate further down stream to avoid getting iced-in?
