Ed.........
It is with deep sadness that I am writing this. I just talked to Ed the other day, we had talked about his rod building business and how we hadn't talked to each other in quite some time. Although I had never met him in person, I found Ed to be one of the nicest, kindest people to talk to. I considered him a good friend, and I think he included me amongst his. My heartfelt condolences to his family. He will be missed here by all.
RIP Smernsky, may eternity be nothing but rising trout and splashy takes.
