John...can you give me more details on the timer....what kind...how it's wired in ....source....etc
Seems like a nice idea ...a little more automatic after initial determinations but at first blush Denny's stop watch idea seems to me an easy way to determine the breakage time...when that sucker explodes it's almost reflex to push the stop button.
BTW Denny's and my motors are 900 RPMs ....don't know what the gear ratios are....I suspect 1:1
That furling time seems long...Denny has said he goes on average 45 seconds so I'am too and I find they are definitely overfurled...no harm no foul though.....

I've been using 3/8" dowels for pegs and really like them and wondering if I could stick with them and FISHN50 screw/bolt may be just the ticket.
