Dual Purpose 8wt

Just finished up a 2 pc. 9ft. 8wt. This rod was built with a dual purpose in mind (Fresh and Saltwater). Built on a Sevier Saltwater blank with heavy duty strippers / stainless guides and reel seat. Through in an exotic cork grip with green trim bands, and matched it with metallic trim and garnet wraps (no CP) to finish it off......... Ed

Good one Ed, i should be back into my 7 wt. build before too long hopefully and i've got the second one to start yet...

So i'm interested in that stainless seat since both the 7's will salt. Can you say where you found that one? Be good to know where you found stainless strippers and guides too but i can get them from a sponsor of course....just thinkin' with all your attn. to detail, the stainless strippers and guides you use might be better plus i liked the 'heavy duty' aspect.

that is what my 8 weight is built on and I love it. Mine does not look near as nice as yours of course. That is on very nice build. I bet it casts a country mile.
