With the recent reports of World Record Trout being caught, it made me ponder the following dilemna...
Let's say you reach a level of skill and understanding in Fly Fishing that brings you closer to catching a world record trout.
What if you did and it was in a place you soon quickly noticed no one new how to fish??? In fact, the day you catch the trophy, your the only one there for miles. A section wherein big trout feed only a certain time of the year, and on a river that is mostly pounded 35 miles upstream - based on the million dollar marketing mecha that can be fly fishing.
The years of learning, and now - the potential fame, glory, reputation, money - would you keep that 50 lb+ trout or release it?
(Note: if you reply to this, please state how many years you've been fly fishing...just curious)
