Thread: burkheimer rods

  1. Default burkheimer rods

Does anyone have any experience with these rods ?I see that there a couple of them on Ebay .I tried a search on the net but not a lot of info.I'm looking for a rod with an action similar to a Sage RPL or St Croix Legend Ultra.Any comments would be helpful.Thanks.

    Default Googled

Hello bassbugger, i typed 'burkheimer rods' in the search bar and got a lot of info on CF Burkheimer rods. Here's the link to his website: http://cfbflyrods.com/

If you do the google like i did, you'll notice that a lot of ppl like the flyrods. While i don't have one nor have i tried any, i've seen them and the quality is outstanding as i'm sure those that own them and chime in here will agree with.
    Hope this helps !

    Cheers,

I have two and they are amazing workmanship. If you call him, they will have a blank to suit your needs I'm sure. I'm wanting one of his two handers, but other things keep jumping in front of it. You won't be disappointed with those guys! Works of art.

In the Pacific Northwest "burkies" are considered one of the top spey rods made. Amazing craftsmanship and an understanding of tapers and materials that is not matched by many.
