    Default Sunglasses

    Hi,

I'm looking for a good pair of polarized sunglasses. I've been looking at Costa Del Mar and Maui Jim glasses, but I'm not willing to pay $200.00 dollars for a pair. I know that there are many different discontinued models that are on sale for well under that price. If anyone has any recommendations on which discontinued pairs are the best, or where I can find a good deal that would be great.

    Thanks,
    Austin

H30 Sports...$50.00 and you get 3 pair of lenses. I just used mine for an entire week and they worked great..especially the amber lenses

I just bought some discontinued Coyote's for $19 to replace my broken Maui Jim's. Don't count them out. I'm very pleased with them. I loved the MJ's but they wanted $70 to repair them.

(Should I anticipate this post being deleted by mods? Last time I said something about MJ (It was positive comments), 3 of my posts disappeared)

I just lost my Maui Jim's, somewhere in the woods south of town. Went back to everywhere between where I last had em on and where I realized I did not, but no sign of them. Oh well, got about 5 years out of them and they were about dead anyway. $235 replacement cost is a bit much for me to deal with, tho.

So, I too am in the market for some good glasses. Glass lenses only, small lenses, which really narrows my options. Miss the old Wood River by AO/Smith, if they still made em I would grab another pair in a second. Might have to go with the Smith Tactic, even if I don't like the earpieces, or lack thereof.

There are discontinued glasses on ebay, a place in Canada has them up all the time, but they never responded to any request for clarification on the glasses they had so I refused to buy from them. But they might be legit. Also check out Sierra Trading Post, they carry a lot of discontinued models for a decent price. I highly recommend glass lenses if you want them to last you.

I like my Onos. They broke today, but I am going to order another pair this week. Loved them. I wear them everyday and they were 4 years old. They were < $100 with bifocal readers in them.

Thanks for all the replys. I'll try to research all the sunglasses that have been mentioned over the next couple days.

Costco has some polarized RayBans for around $ 100 or less I believe. (I also love MJ's, if they get damaged or they break they might be able to replace them or fix them. That was my personal experience)
