Black River Michigan info
Spending an evening in South Haven next Friday and wondered if there's anything in the Black river near there? Is there a Steelhead run in the Black? If there is a run, are there any fishing in the river yet? Buddy of mine has lived there for 2 years now and doesn't know much about it, but he is a BASS kinda guy.

That Black River is a warm water tributary. Bass should be in there. Not sure if it gets a steelhead run or not but I'd give it a look. That's also the same river that had a huge fish kill a couple of weeks ago. You may want to get a car and drive a bit north.

Different Black river, Deb. This one is in the Southwest corner of the state. It's not mentioned in Trout Streams of Michigan unless it in there as a tributary to one of the other rivers. It may still have a steelhead run. If it drains inot lake Mi. and isn't blocked by a dam it probably has a few strays even if it has never been planted.
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.
