All those interested in cane rods are officially invited to this year's Maine winter gathering, SuperBoo 3. Once again, this is just a great chance to join good people who use or are curious about cane rods for a few hours of casting and comparing tapers, asking questions and offering opinions. Since its often hard to actually have cane in hand, especially a variety of tapers, this is a great informal opportunity...if only we had water in the gym (sorry, no) it would be perfect!

Arrival and set up will begin at Lawrence Junior High gym at 8am, with
casting roughly at 9am and running until noon. There is no admission charge. LJHS is located in Fairfield, Maine,
between the freeway exit and Fly Fishing Only, adjacent to the high school. Refreshments are welcome in the
gym (encouraged, in fact), as are donations for door prizes.

All rods must come through the doors and exit in rod cases. Not all rods have to be available for general casting, but please treat those which are as
your own or better, as in the past two SuperBoos.

Hopefully, October "Banjo" Woods will be available for consultations!

If anyone has gear cluttering the closet, we'll have a swap/free table. Rods for sale are welcome and there will be related books for sale for your convienence only -
this is not a commercial event.

All are welcome.
