    Default Slowing down and taking it easy. The fiberglass revolution sails over seas.

    Well I guess us glass lovers couldn't keep the secret to ourselves forever. Here is a few pics of the latest Lamiglas fly rod I've made for an over seas customer; a Gentleman who imo has exquisite taste in tackle and is a serious fan of the Lamiglas "honey" blanks.

    All of the components and grip style were selected by the customer.

    There was some mist blowing in the air when I took the pics, so what looks like dust on the wraps is actually water/mist


    Ferrule is wrapped with white thread...rust red spiraled over. The white silk thread turned water clear when the finish was applied.



    REC nickel silver down locking reel seat with Box Elder spacer.




    Hook keeper wrapped like the ferrules









    I'm terrible at taking pictures of the whole rod but this is what she looks like.
