Hi,
This is a nice pattern, and one that makes great use of various feathers from the Ringneck pheasant. Some of these feathers have such great patterns on them that I find it surprising how under-utilised they are. The Mrs. Simpson (very popular in New Zealand) is one of the few popular patterns I know of that uses them. I'll have to put together some of these when I get back to NZ. I suspect they would do very well in some of the Rotorura Lakes.

I have this article available in PDF (requires Adobe Reader) or download, for viewing on you home screen. I enlarged the photos, and changed the layout to later version of Fly of the Week layout with larger sized photos of each step which are also numbered.
My way of help all members of FAOL, and saying thank you to Al Campbell, who was my friend, brother of the long rod, and mentor. Just my way of "Paying Forward" for all the help given to me by others!
