Guy at work brought in his grandfathers rod to ask a couple of us fishing nuts ....... there's no apparent markings on it - but what I can describe is :

3pc steel rod
dark green in color
but section = tube
mid and tip sections = rod
Reel seat retainer ring - stainless - stamped with 'MADE IN USA'
Blunt / domed winding check
Reel seat in front of grip
Wooden grip that is ribbed (about 8 ribs per inch)
each section only has 1 snake guide
snake guides seem to be crimped on with a ring
tip top is 3 circles tack welded together
drab olive bag with black tie strings

___________
I'm purely guessing, but from what I can find, it's either either :
a) Bristol rod (mfg for Horton Co.)
or
b) American Fork

Can anyone help ?

thanks,
