Anyone know a source for the good feathers? One ounce or 1/4 oz of loose feather. I still prefer to cut the maribou off the shaft and tie it in as clump with some tail length. Way more undulation and you can always tear off length on the water if needed. Even at the bench, while tying, the last thing after whip was pinch the tail together and tear the excess to initial length. Never cut with scissors. Maybe I'm showing my age here but "bugger" maribou is a misnomer as far as I'm concerned.
